Meet the Clerk

Amanda Gross Thies began her first term of office as Clerk of Court on July 1, 2024. Amanda, a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, is a West Baton Rouge Parish native and previously served as Chief Deputy for the Clerk’s Office and as a Judicial Law Clerk in the 18th JDC.

Amanda will continue to build on the foundation established by her predecessors and provide the citizens of West Baton Rouge Parish with the quality service they have come to expect from the clerk and her staff.
